If any of you have used cleats and/or any other youth size (any size) soccer gear to spare, including used soccer balls and coaching accessories, please contact us to make delivery / pick up arrangements. Your generous donation is most appreciated.
We thank all of you who have made donations! While all donators are special to us, we wish to salute for 2008 the hard work of Ms. Michelle Perry and her colleagues at the Town of Markham municipal offices for making the used soccer gear drive part of their Employee Appreciation Day celebrations. In recognition of their unsolicited, voluntary effort, and with sincerest gratitude, we presented an honourary Global Peace Games medallion and our Letter of Gratitude to Honourable Mayor Frank Scarpitti, Michelle Perry and some of her esteemed colleagues. We are humbled in learning that the letter and medallion will be proudly displayed for public viewing by the Town of Markham in the near future.
